She is an Executive Member of the Intelligent Automation Congress and a member within VOCAL Council and regularly shares her knowledge at global and industry-led events.
Rodson Varella is a Senior Automation Engineer at BASF, where he designs and implements scalable automation solutions to enhance financial reporting, audit routines, and compliance. With over 15 years of experience in finance process optimization and certifications in Lean methodologies, SAP, SQL, and RPA, Rodson bridges financial expertise with cutting-edge technology. He specializes in CI/CD pipeline architecture, financial data automation, and GenAI solutions. His mission is to drive operational excellence and enable innovation across finance functions in global organizations.
Henning Schmitz leads the Process Automation function at Bayer, where he is driving the strategic implementation of intelligent automation across the organization. With over 15 years of experience at Bayer, his expertise spans SAP process landscapes, interface development, and end-to-end process optimization. Henning combines a strong technical background with a deep understanding of business process management, gained through roles in IT, global project management, and in-house consulting. He holds a degree in Information Management from the University of Koblenz and has studied internationally in New Zealand, Poland, the Czech Republic, and Ireland.
Stefan Hassmann is the Service Owner and Head of the central Process Automation Platform at Continental. With 17 years of professional experience in IT service management and automation, he has held key roles at Hewlett-Packard, Materna, and Continental, driving innovative solutions and operational excellence.
Bela Wessels is a Junior Software Engineer at Bayer, focusing on AI and process automation within the Technology & Engineering division. After completing a dual study program in Business Informatics with a focus on Data Science, he now continues to deepen his expertise through a Master’s program at Fachhochschule Dortmund. Bela combines hands-on development experience with a strong academic foundation in digital transformation technologies.
